Drop - In

Doorways is open as a drop in centre through out the day for tea, coffee and a range of other support. The centre is situated near to train station, opposite the Natwest bank.

We are available to listen and support in many areas such as homelessness, addiction, relationships and general wellbeing. This is a safe environment, no judgments are made and confidentiality is kept. Facilities in the center include Internet access, DVD player, Tea/Coffee, PS2 games console, local Telephone use and CV help.

The project is open Monday to Friday 10.00am till 5.00pm.

Activities

At the drop - in centre we hope to engage with young people on many different levels and issues, using different resources and creative ideas. Young people can become involved in many different projects including the development of website material, the creation of a DVD documentary, creating Big Chess pieces and also a number of individual and team challenges.

Workshops are also available on health issues such as smoking cessation, alcohol and drug abuse, healthy eating and relationships.
